MV JAGO II

(2006 – 2008)

MV JAGO II

In November 2004 Ulvan-Berge Rederi AS bought the livestock carrier Holstein Express and rebuilt her to a general cargo carrier named Frohavet. In April 2006 Sletringen Bulk AS bought Frohavet from Ulvan-Berge Rederi AS and renamed her again to JAGO, the same name as the vessel owned by Anne Gunn’s family. JAGO was rebuilt to carry fish fodder from Denmark to Norway and take over the route previously traveled by MV DanaNor. The main cargo was fishfood, general cargo and small boats when traveling Northbound. Additionally, we installed equipment necessary for discharging fishfood directly in to silos on barges. When traveling southbound the main cargo was fertilizer, chalk and dolomite in BB, herring in barrels, small boats and general cargo. JAGO was sold to Bio Feeder AS in December 2008 and renamed Kryssholm. The vessel continued to carry fishfood until she was scrapped in February 2017.
