MV Kjervaagsund

In February 2018 Berge Rederi AS bought the vessel Frieda from Intersee Schiffarths - GMBH and renamed her to MV Kjervaagsund (K = 6000 dwt) The name Kjervaagsund originated from a place close to Titran on the Island Frøya. Kjervaagsund was rebuilt to a self-discharger with excavator same year in Tallinn. The cargo capacity is 5600 t, with 2 cargo holds of a total 7900 cbm consisting of 2 movable bulkheads. The vessel's main cargo are raw materials for the salmon and agriculture industry in Norway. Outbound cargoes are mainly dolomite, crumbles, timber and split.
