MV Sletringen

(1999 – 2007)

In the year 2000, the vessel MV Mina Mare was bought from Spanish owners and renamed to MV Sletringen. The name Sletringen originated from the light house Sletringen close to Titran where Anne Gunn and Magne lived at that time. The vessel was 2889 dwt, 63 m long and fitted with an excavator. Sletringen Bulk AS was owned by Magne, Anne Gunn, Oddvar and Øivind Berge, Frøyfisk AS and Tor Arnar Skeie. This vessel was the start of our present bulk cargo trade. Sletringen was in the end sold to a Croatian company in 2005.
