Welcome to Berge Rederi AS, a Norwegian shipping company committed to reliable, efficient, and sustainable maritime logistics. Based on the island of Hitra with a branch office in Trondheim, we specialize in the operation of bulk self-discharging vessels ranging from 3,700 to 8,500 DWT. Our fleet serves ports from the high Arctic in Svalbard to the Mediterranean, ensuring flexible and dependable cargo transport across Northern and Western Europe.

 

Our operations are managed by TransMar AS, a DNV-certified ship management company responsible for both Berge Rederi AS and Berge Rederi Future AS. TransMar AS focuses on the management and operation of bulk carriers in international trade, transporting diverse cargo with an emphasis on raw materials for the fish fodder and agriculture industries. With approximately 60% of our business secured under long-term contracts, we maintain strong, consistent partnerships with customers across the globe.
